EBI Pedestal Cranes

Elevating Boats LLC. has been manufacturing EBIŽ CRANES since 1963.  EBIŽ CRANES are designed and manufactured to be very rugged in structure, low in maintenance and competitive in cost.  This is accomplished through careful coordination between engineering, component manufacturing, crane assembly and testing;  all in accordance with API-2C and API-Q1 quality control requirements.  EBIŽ CRANES are manufactured to withstand the rough offshore working environment.  Every crane is tested to 200% of its rated dynamic load and meets or exceeds all the API and OSHA standards.

EBIŽ CRANES operates in one of the more automated and complete machine shops in the southeastern United States.  Utilizing the latest in design engineering software and computer numerical controlled machine tools, EBIŽ designs and manufactures more of its crane components than any of its competitors.  These components include things such as turn-table (swing) bearings, planetary gear reductions, hydraulic winches, hydraulic cylinders and many other vital components.  This independent manufacturing capability allows for greater control of product quality and delivery.  The current EBIŽ CRANES product line consist of fixed boom and telescopic boom cranes ranging in size from 2 1/2 tons to 75 tons.  A lattice boom crane capable of lifting 250 tons is also available.

EBI Fixed Boom Cranes

In 1964 EBI designed and built the first all hydraulic fixed boom crane to be used on a liftboats.  This crane was built for the purpose of replacing a hand operated jib crane and the hand operated stiff leg booms that were used on EBI's liftboats.

EBI, at the present time, has six different sizes of fixed boom cranes.  They are the C10, C20, C30, C60, C100, and the C150.  These six fixed boom cranes also have different boom length variations of there own.  For example, a C10 can have the different boom lengths of 30', 40', 50', or 60'.

EBI's Cranes can be used on practically any type of crane application, from platform to a land based crane.  They may also be used on vessels such as, tug boats, crew boats, tankers, oil rigs, and on liftboats.

EBI Telescopic Boom Cranes

EBI has been building telescopic cranes for over 20 years.  These cranes operate with a rack and pinion gear system to extend and retract the boom.  EBI's all hydraulic telescopic cranes are unique in the crane industry.

EBI, at the present time, has six different sizes of telescopic boom cranes which are the TC10, TC20, TC30, TC60, TC100, and the TC150.

EBI Lattice Boom Cranes

EBI is producing its first lattice boom crane.  This crane was designed and built by EBI.  The LC 400 crane has eight different length variations for this one crane design of a lattice boom crane.  EBI plans to build a full line of lattice boom cranes.
